Airgas, an Air Liquide company, has made two new changes to its executive team, including a new CEO and Chief Operating Officer.

Announcing the changes on Wednesday (Oct 7), the industrial gases company named Marcelo Fioranelli as its new CEO, having succeeded Pascal Vinet back in July (2021).

On top of his role as Airgas CEO, Fioranelli also serves on the Board of Airgas and Air Liquide Group Vice-President and member of the Executive Committee.

Fioranelli holds nearly 30 years of experience in the industrial gas industry in countries such as Brazil, China and the US.

A more recent personnel change, Airgas has also named Jay Worley as Chief Operating Officer, effective as of 1st October (2021).

Having served with Airgas since 1993, Worley has held many key roles within the company. Most recently, he served as President of West Division.

Worley succeeds Andy Cichocki who is now retiring after 33 years with Airgas.
