Atlas Copco has acquired Hamamcıoğlu Makina, a Turkey-based company focused on the sales and service of air compressor solutions.
In an announcement made today (14th Nov), Atlas Copco confirmed that Hamamcıoğlu Makina has become part of the service division within the compressor technique business area.
Hamamcıoğlu Makina is headquartered in Istanbul and has 23 employees. The company has customers in the textile, iron, steel, automotive, chemicals, and food and beverage industries.
Vagner Rego, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area, said the acquisition will increase Atlas Copco’s local presence and service capabilities in Turkey.
He continued, “Hamamcıoğlu Makina has decades of experience providing compressed air solutions to customers in many industries throughout Turkey.”
News of the acquisition follows Atlas Copco earlier this week unveiling its new corporate brand identity, including a new group logo, visual identity, and group message.
While the new identity offers a fresh new look, the multinational industrial company said its current blue and white Atlas Copco brand and logo will continue to be used on products and services, in the same way as other brands in the group use its logo.
