Climeworks wants to triple its US team by the end of 2024 and has today (13th March) announced its new US headquarters in Austin, Texas.
In addition to its new headquarters, the direct air capture (DAC) technology specialist also has additional teams in New York, Washington DC, and California.
Douglas Chan, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for the US at Climeworks, said, “Our new headquarters in Austin, Texas, complemented by a presence on the west and east coasts, will enable us to grow more rapidly.”
He also says that the news provides a foundation for multiple DAC projects in the US for years to come.
