Colombia has witnessed strong economic growth over the past decade – averaging at 4.6% per year. Growth has however been slowing over the past few years – like many other South American economies, the fall in commodity prices and a decline in exports have effected growth.
Going forward, gasworld Business Intelligence predict strong continues growth in Colombia. However, we do not expect to see growth levels on par with what has been witnessed in the past decade – growth is more likely to be in the region of 4.2% to 4.9% p.a.
